A new addition to Cookeville's coffee house scene

Angie Stewart, Charger Staff

There is a new coffee shop in town called Gridge’s, located at 28 West Broad.

They serve hot and cold drinks including espresso, coffee, hot chocolate, and frozen drinks. They also serve sandwiches made by World Foods. Delicious desserts are also featured on the menu. Gridge’s sells t-shirts, coffee beans, jelly beans, and some other items.

Gridge’s is a good place to meet and hangout or talk to friends. It is also a great place to go to just relax, read, or do your homework.

The service at Gridge’s is great! It does not take long to be served. The drinks are made fresh, right before your eyes, and the desserts are ready-made. Grab a punch card when ordering any drink, and after you get nine punches in your card your tenth drink will be free.

Gridge’s is hip and uniquely decorated. It is well cared for and clean. A bit on the small side, there are not very many tables or chairs.

The prices at Gridge’s are not high. The drinks are approximately $1.25 to $3.50. The desserts are around $2.50.

Gridge’s is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., as well as Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

If you are looking for somewhere new, to go to with your friends, or just somewhere to sit down and relax, then try Gridge’s! Gridge’s also has a back entrance with more parking.
