New foreign-exchange student

Alison Palmer, Charger Staff

CHS participates in the foreign-exchange program where students from different countries have the opportunity to visit and go to school in different places. This year we have a new foreign-exchange student, Kamila Greziak.
Kamila is a tall, blonde, sixteen-year-old sophomore from Siedlce, Poland. She is a member of a family of four that includes her mother, her father, and her twenty-year old-brother. She says she does not have any pets,“but I have a brother. Does that count?”

Having just recently arrived, Kamila is not sure what she thinks about Cookeville yet, but when asked about the differences between Cookeville and Poland, she just laughed and said, “There are too many to say!” She eventually did say that one of the biggest differences is the transportation. “In Poland you usually don’t used cars to get where you want to go. You just walk.”

Kamila likes to play tennis and says she might try out for the CHS tennis team. She loves to dance to her favorite music, hip-hop. Her favorite color is red, and it is also the color of her favorite food, tomatoes. She also loves to do what every other teenage girl loves to do....SHOP!
As awesome as Cookeville is, Kamila does miss her home in Poland. What she misses most is being able to go to France, the food (which she claims is much better than American food), and hanging out with her friends back in Siedlce.

On behalf of the Cookeville High School, the Charger staff would like to welcome Kamila to Cookeville, and we hope she enjoys her year with us.
