The Killers: a killer sound

If you have not heard them yet, The Killers will soon be reaching your ears. Hailing from Las Vegas, this alternative rock band has boosted themselves into new heights. Their debut album, Hot Fuss, includes the songs “Somebody Told Me” and

”Mr. Brightside”, and the album has several other great songsthat appear on this album.
The band consists of Brandon Flowers, for vocals and keyboard, David Keuning on the guitar, Mark Stoermer on bass, and Ronnie Vannucci on drums.

The band has been nominated for MTVU “Woodie” Award for best emerging artist. They were also selected as one of the Top Ten Finalists for the 2004 Shortlist Music Prize for artist achievement in music, and they were named a “Hot Band” in Rolling Stone’s “Hot Issue.”

They are going to be shooting the video for “Mr. Brightside” towards the end of this month.
