Diving into a new season and coach-- the swim team

The CHS swim team is diving into a new season with Coach Terry Scott.

Coach Scott says, “ I am looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead, and the 2002-2003 team can meet those challenges.”

This year’s roster is quite large. It contains freshmen Katie Anderson, Crystal Baraboo, Megan England, Braedon Julian, Amanda Keifer, Seth Ketner, Kayla Kmet, Britney Pirtle, Jillian Scott, Whitney Tayes, John Zoodsman; sophomores Tyler Asher, Robert Baert, Amanda Baraboo, Chris Carver, Mary Essler, Elizabeth Garrett, Asia Hill, Sara Hollmann, Sean Mahoney, Jared Martin, Abby McColough, Ashley McKee, James Scott; juniors Nathan Beadle, David Cash, Charles Day, Sue Donovan, Vee Donovan, Andrew Gribble, Clasen Jacoby, Erin McColough, Jon Watson and seniors Jason Baert, Orin Christianson, Jonathan Jacoby, Brandon Pruett, and Matt Stone.
Coach Scott says, “ I really have a great team.”

Everyone is excited about starting a new season. Sophomore Elizabeth Garrett says, “I am new to the swim team this year, but the rest of the team has been great and has made transition easier than what I had expected.”
The team’s first challenge is against Riverdale on Nov. 18 followed by their first home challenge against Tullahoma on Nov. 22.

Everyone should go out and support the 2002-2003 swim team. It”s going to be a great year for our swim teams.
