Oh no! Give me back my purse!

Kathleen Robles, Charger Staff

Stealing is something people have done for a very long time. For example, just this year I've had a CD player stolen from me! At Avery Trace, when those colored pens were new and people loved them, more than half of mine were stolen!

I pity anyone who won’t work for the stuff they have. People who practice their “talent” make me nervous and the urge to tattle is always present. No theft is good, but if someone doesn't have enough money to buy food, I don't think I could turn him or her in as easily as someone stealing an item of some sort.
The people who borrow a pen and forget to return it don't count unless the person who takes your pen does it intentionally. I've had that happen a lot, which is why I don't lend pens or pencils anymore. Worse yet are the people who 'borrow' things then say, "This is mine!" Wake up kleptomaniacs!

Stealing is immoral, but it happens. It’s a part of life for some people and a sport for others.

It’s not something to be proud of, but I am not the one who is going to try to tell someone otherwise. That is for the person to decide.
