Interact blood drive

by: Kristen Mitchel, Co-Editor-in-Chief

This has not been a lucky year for blood drives but that has not prevented the Interact club from giving everyone another chance to donate blood again this year.

First the fall blood drive was rescheduled due to the Anthrax scare. Then, the spring blood drive was rescheduled for snow. The rescheduled blood drive was held on Feb. 20.

"The Red cross said that the blood drive was successful, and we would like to thank everyone that gave blood. In the future however, we hope to see more donors," says Interact President Jonathan Uhles.

The American Red Cross is very thankful for all of those who donated.

The Interact club holds two annual blood drives, so next year everyone who is eligible is encouraged to donate bleed. You might just save a life.
