Let the video games begin
Perry Johnson, Charger Staff
As video games grow more polpular thanks to the many new devices,
I have researched a couple games that are worthy of any players
collection.
Halo 2
The Master chief is back in the sequel to his first game, Halo.
In this bigger, badder version of the first game, the second is,
as head of Bungie Studios said,"Halo 2 is a lot like Halo 1,
only it's Halo 1 on fire, going 130 miles per hour being chased
by helicopters and ninjas that are on fire as well."
Halo 2 expands the already powerful arsenal of weapons with a new
blend of weapons, many pried from the hostile forces hands.
There are also many more drivable vehicles used to discover the
many new vast landscapes provided by a new graphics engine so you
can get every drop of adventure out of the Xbox console.
In addition to the single-player action, Halo 2 again makes use
of the multiplayer split-screen system-link feature and adds Xbox
live feature to the picture. The Halo 2 online multiplayer experience
will feature squad-oriented team-play, real-time voice chat, and
extensive community support. The game ships out at the end of this
year.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
The fellowship is back in the next adventure of the trilogy, The
Two Towers. In The Two Towers, you battle the forces of Mordor and
continue your adventure through the epic story of Middle-Earth by
battling your way against Orcs and other creatures in fully interactive
environments.
In the second addition of the game your selection of characters
are Aragon, Legolas, or Gimli. In order to succeed in your quest
you have to balance each characters moves, skills, and weaponry.
The Two Towers also includes exclusive movie content including
scenes from The Two Towers, interviews, and music from the Academy
Award-Winning sound track from The Fellowship of the Ring.
