Ultimate!

Holly Roberts, Charger Staff

Interested in taking up a new sport? Well, you’re in luck. You’re invited to CHS’s new ultimate frisbee club!

Don’t know the rules? No problem! Ultimate’s growing community always welcomes newcomers. It’s played on a 100yd. field, which has two end zones, and the “disk” or “frisbee” is its central object. “Teamwork is the best quality of the sport,” said club president, Adam Lafever.

CHS student Wes Garner described it as “somehow different from other sports.” No one gets too serious; the object of the club is to have fun!

So spend a Sunday afternoon getting your “ya-yas” out with some fellow Cavaliers. Show up at Sherwood Park (in front of the TTU engineering building) around 3:00, and play ‘till dark. See you there!
