A Team: In a word - FANTASTIC!

 One word to describe the Academic Team is FANTASTIC! The team has
won numerous titles and championships including eight championships
and seventeen competitions in which they have competed.
With a record of 133 to 6, the Academic Team is a force to be reckoned
with. Since the early days from 1982, they have been a dominating
team.
Team 1 includes members Matt Lynn, Tyler Pannel, Bobby Liu, and
Fumni Ojo. Alternates are Josh Bohannon, Noel Bernard, and Seth
Magdalena.
When the seniors graduate, the younger players will compete for
their spot in the main section of the Academic Team. “Their
greatest achievement is coming in third place in the American Scholastic
Competition Tournament of Champions,” comments Coach Carolyn
Hawkins.
The Academic team is a great team and will continue to be in future
years.
