Key Dates for CHS Students
Schedules for 2009/2010 School Year
July 30, 2009, 9:00 a.m. – Noon, New and Transfer Student Registration
In front of the CHS Counseling Center on 2nd floor. Students will need to attend with a parent or guardian (proof of custody if applicable), have proof of residency, an immunization record, birth certificate, social security card, attendance/discipline report, a report card or transcript from previous school. Not having these documents may delay the enrollment process. At the time of registration, students will be advised where and when to pick up their schedules.
August 3, 2009, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. 12th grade schedules, CHS Cafeteria
12th grade students will pick up schedules and IDs and pay fees unless they were
Pre-paid.
August 3, 2009, 4:00pm OR 6:00pm 9th grade schedules, CHS Cafeteria Cookeville High School will host a ninth grade orientation for rising ninth graders on Monday, August 3rd. Parents and students can CHOOSE ONE session, 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm, to attend that evening. Students will receive an invitation in the mail mid-July.
Students will pay fees, sign-up for clubs, pick-up schedules, meet their team of teachers, and tour the building.

August 4, 2009 1 p.m. - 3p.m., 10th grade schedules, CHS Cafeteria
10th grade students will pick up schedules and IDS and pay fees.
For those students who prepaid in the spring, please stop by the table set up in the commons to pick up your parking tag and student ID. Also, after paying your registration fees, students should take his/her schedule marked paid to the table outside of Mrs. Winchester’s office to pick up school ID.
August 10, 2009 (10 a.m. day) any students who have not picked up schedules should do so at this time.
****The registration fee is $25 and parking fee is $35.00 for those who drive.
