Break. CHS will offer Credit Recovery and Course Remediation. All offerings will ultimately be determined by interest.

information is TBA.
Course Remediation
Students interested in course remediation during Intersession must first discuss
the work that needs to be completed with his or her individual teacher(s). It
is the individual teacher’s discretion to determine what opportunities
may exist for a student to improve his or her grade. Once the student has teacher
approval to complete specific work during Intersession, the student needs to
sign up in the PLATO lab (room 86) with Ms. Hatcher by Friday, February 29th.
Credit Recovery
Credit Recovery is for students who failed a prior class in English 9, 10, 11,
12, Foundations II, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, US
History, World History, Economics, or Government. Students must first complete
an application with their Counselor. Students will complete an assessment to
determine where in the program they need to begin. They are required to take
notes and complete mastery tests. In all English classes, there is a reading
and writing component. Students MUST be approved for this program through Counseling BEFORE signing up in the PLATO Lab (room 86).
For questions, please call Ms. Darlene Hatcher at 520-2135 or e-mail Ms. Hatcher at hatcherd2@k12tn.net.
Students attending Intersession will be required to attend the entire day or until they finish the work left for them. Students may not leave for lunch and return to school. Students caught leaving will not be allowed to return.
